Why not have ago at the task from the Raspberry Pi foundation and the ESA and your code could appear in space for 30 seconds in Space. You will need to convince your school /  Jam to submit on your behalf to qualify. Terms and conditions and more information can be found here:
https://projects.raspberrypi.org/en/projects/astro-pi-mission-zero/

If you have a go why not submit your code to York Pi Jam as part of the "Virtual Jam" and you can win £25 worth of Mod My pi vouchers to spend. More info can be found here:

Virtual Jam: Blog 1 "The big red button"

Scratch lesson 4 / Virtual Jam blog 1

To do my bit to help out here is a "Virtual" activity you can have a go at as part of the Virtual Jam weekend. This one uses Scratch 1.4 to create a "Virtual LED" and control with a big red button. You can download this instruction booklet here:
https://github.com/ncscomputing/VirtualJam1/raw/master/Code%20snap%20shots.pdf

You will need to use the template Scratch file here:
https://github.com/ncscomputing/VirtualJam1/raw/master/led%20Template.sb

You can see here the basic program in action:

Slot the wires, resister and led into place....

Then press the big red button to unleash the light show .....

Resister

Why not try your own extensions..... add more led colours or even change the fur colour of the Bear.

Enjoy your virtual Jam.... you can find out more at http://yorkpi.tech/chat/

Over :)
